Designed by Tom Simpson and Molly Gourlay in 1938, the course blends subtle farmland terrain with dramatic sand hills along the Irish Sea. Featuring deep pot bunkers and undulating greens that mimic ocean swells, Baltray’s layout is challenging yet fair. Often considered one of Ireland’s most underrated courses, it offers a pure and authentic links experience in a serene coastal setting.
